ABOUT US
Pediatric Dental Specialists is a speciality dental practice treating patients from infants to young adults. Our pediatric dentist, Dr. Tricia J. Altschuler, has training and experience to provide a wide range of dental treatment.
Our practice provides comprehensive care from routine preventive visits to restorations, and oral surgery. We recommend that parents bring their children to the dentist 6 months after their first tooth erupts, and then every 6 months. This establishes a routine that can ensure good dental hygiene and health throughout the child’s life.​​
OUR TEAM
Dr. Tricia Altschuler founded Pediatric Dental Specialists in 2004, after practicing for several years in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Dr. Altschuler completed her pediatric specialty education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is proud of the dental home she has created at PDS.

Our staff will gladly file the dental insurance paperwork for you. We understand that it can be complicated and time consuming. Our staff has experience in working through the insurance process and is happy to submit your claim to the insurance company. We can also provide you with general information about your coverage so you can make the appropriate decisions for your treatment plan.
